I’m currently working at Jewel Café Tropicana Garden. My job involves working in sales, specifically in the field of purchasing preloved branded items, gold, and diamonds. I negotiate with customers to determine a fair price for their items, considering factors such as brand, condition, and market value. I strive to offer competitive prices while ensuring that the items we acquire meet our quality standards. It's an exciting job that allows me to connect with customers and help them find value in their preloved items.
Well, one of the happiest episodes I encountered during work was when I was able to solve a challenging problem for a client and I was able to provide them with a solution that not only resolved the problem but also exceeded their expectations. Seeing their excitement and gratitude was incredibly rewarding and made me feel fulfilled in my role. It reminded me of the importance of helping others and the satisfaction that comes from making a positive impact.
The atmosphere in my workplace is generally very positive and collaborative. We have a supportive team that values open communication and teamwork. There's a strong sense of camaraderie among colleagues, which creates a welcoming and friendly environment. We strive to maintain an atmosphere of respect and inclusivity where everyone's opinions and ideas are valued. Additionally, our company culture promotes work-life balance and employee well-being. We have social events such as the annual dinner to foster a sense of belonging and appreciation.
